Amazon Review For Women’s Edition :
I was intrigued by this book as soon as I saw it. A devotional specificially for women who love adventure?! Perfect! This book didn’t disappoint either. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The devotions are the perfect length, it’s thoughtful and unique, and it has a place to record your thoughts at the end.
Each devotional is short and simple. It’s doesn’t take long to read through the section, yet it is packs incredible wisdom in that small space. It’s really easy to commit to reading this everyday since it only takes up a few minutes.
This is completely different than any other devotional I have. Relating scripture to my sense of adventure and different experiences I have had makes it so easy to relate to. The fist devotional compares our exposure to sinful media, stories, and thoughts, with getting sand in your equipment when camping or hiking. Odd? Yes, but guess what, it works perfectly! The way this is written, it makes perfect sense.
I love having a place at the end of each devotional with questions and a place to record my thoughts. I don’t have to find a notebook or just answer the questions in my head. I can write them out to reference later, or to make better sense of my thoughts.
